Hai Duong is a well–off the land with charming nature – landscapes and beautiful sites such as Con Son and Kiep Bac temple which is known by many people. Con Son called Hun Mountain, high nearly up to 200 meters and 1 kilometer in length. Con Son Peak has more than 900 levels of stone arranged meanderingly across and pine – hill whispered soft and show and windy.

On top was remaining a relic of ancient architecture with the shape of a Cong located in an even and flat area. With a dense system of rivers connecting villages, fields, and nearly 7,000 hectares of fruit trees, Thanh Ha district (Hai Duong province) is known as the “miniature Mekong River Delta” of the Eastern land. Coming to Thanh Ha in the ripe lychee season, visitors will have a chance to ride on a boat along the river, take beautiful Instagram pictures of nature, hand-pick the fresh lychees from the branches, and visit the oldest 200 – year – old lychee trees located at Thuy Lam village, Thanh Son commune.

This place is the land of many tangible and intangible cultural heritages that have existed for hundreds of years such as folk performing arts, water puppetry, traditional festivals of Bach Hao Pagoda, and more.

In order to effectively promote tourism potential, Thanh Ha district has implemented the project “Development of tourist attractions associated with Huong River eco-tourism in Thanh Ha in the period of 2021-2025.” Nguyen Van Vinh, Head of the Culture and Information Department of Thanh Ha district, said the project has had its first positive results, gradually turning tourism into an important economic sector.

“Over the past few years, Dong Man (Thanh Khe commune) has welcomed more than 30,000 tourists to visit, and there are roughly 40,000 tourists coming to see the ancient lychee trees,” said Nguyen Van Vinh.

Agricultural tourism is based on the advantages and characteristics of a diverse locality rich in cultural traditions in the Red River Delta region, associated with agricultural and rural development. Hai Duong province has started to build several agricultural tourism products, such as the Co Island eco-tour, craft villages, ruoi rice festival, Carrot Festival, and many more.

The tourism products are diverse but lack connection and are not well-planned, making agricultural and rural tourism in Hai Duong less successful than expected. Besides, agricultural and rural tourism requires more participation of people, because they are an important factor in creating tourism products.

Vu Van Diep, an artisan living in Dong Giao, the wood carving craft village (Luong Dien commune, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong), said even though the artists in the village produce astonishing and beautiful products, this place is still not well-known to the tourists.

The People’s Committee of Hai Duong province has determined that by 2025, Hai Duong will welcome 2.5 million international tourists and 3.7 million domestic tourists. To achieve this goal, diverse tourism products associated with local agricultural strengths have been improved, with a focus on high-quality tourism human resources.

The East is a land of fruit orchards., thousands of historical and cultural relics and traditional festivals, a convenient transportation system, and above all, the friendly local people living here. All of these are favorable conditions for forming specific agricultural-rural tourism products, making tourism an important economic sector of Hai Duong.
