The 5th Hanoi International Guitar Festival was successfully held on October 19 – 22 at the Hanoi College of Art. The theme “Manuel Adalid” was named after the famous Spanish guitar maker Manuel Adalid. The final round of the “Inno Vietnam – Japan Fast Track Pitch 2023” took place on November 3 in Hanoi. Foreign Investors Impresses With Vietnamese Start-ups The “Challenge Owners” at the final round are six entities in the innovation and tech sector from both Japan and Vietnam, namely VinFast , FPT Information System, MoMo (Vietnam), Becamex Tokyu Group, Money Forward, and Fujikin Group (Japan). The competition is co-hosted by the Ministry of Investment and Planning of Vietnam and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI). It is a part of the “ASEAN-Japan Co-Creation Fast Track Initiative”, which was launched by METI and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The goal is to support the creation of open innovation through collaboration between startups and large companies from both ASEAN and Japan. Culture Ministry finds way to bring home Nguyen Dynasty antiques

According to details given by Labour Newspaper, the MCST sent an official dispatch to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and co-ordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in France and the Vietnamese Cultural Centre in France to work directly with Paris-based MILLON auction house. They have been working together in an attempt to verify information relating to two Nguyen Dynasty antiques, including their owner, legality, expected selling price, and ability to negotiate direct purchases without auction. Based on discussions held with the auction house, the Ministry will propose the most suitable plan in order to repatriate the antiques in accordance with the laws of the host country and international practices. The Ministry stated that if the seal was the ‘Hoang de chi bao (Emperor’s Treasure)’, then it had been used for the country’s public and political activities throughout a historical period and carried significant historical and cultural value. Danish Crown Prince warmly welcomed upon arrival in Vietnam

Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth touch down in Hanoi on the evening of October 31 to mark the start of their four-day visit to the nation. The visit is the third made by Crown Prince Frederik following trips to the country in both 2009 and 2011. They pose for a group photo. They fly at a relatively low altitude, meaning that residents can easily observe them. They pass over the centre of Hanoi several times. A pair of fighters suddenly showcase their attack capabilities whilst in the air. The Vietnam International Defense Expo 2022 is scheduled to take place at Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi from December 8 to December 10. The expo is to be hosted by the Vietnamese Defence Ministry and will showcase various means of warfare, as well as state-of-the-art technologies and equipment serving different military forces.
