PM Demands Strengthened Discipline in Law Building

The meeting focused discussions on three proposals to build the amended Law on the Capital City, the Law on People’s Air Defense and the Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Law on Asset Auctions.

Four draft laws were also tabled for examination, including the draft Law on Housing (revised), the draft Law on Real Estate Trading (revised) and the draft Law on Telecommunications (revised).

Speaking at the event, PM Chinh said it is necessary to prioritise resources for institution building and perfection, clarify the responsibility of leaders, units, and individuals in meeting the schedule and quality requirements for drafting legal documents; and prevent local or group interests in the process.

The Government leader also reminded ministries and agencies to promptly complete draft laws that must be submitted to the NA’s fifth meeting for consideration, stressing that no delay is allowed.

Who Is Anton Zeilinger – One Of The Three Nobel Winner Of Quantum Physics?

Photo: Wikipedia Anton Zeilinger is a professor of physics at the University of Vienna and a Senior Scientist at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. His research group has demonstrated a phenomenon called quantum teleportation, which makes it possible to move a quantum state from one particle to one at a distance. Giant calligraphy hat breaks record as largest in Vietnam

The work has been done on the initiative of Dao Thi Cam Suong, a calligrapher from Can Tho. The giant conical hat is made up of a total of 540 smaller conical hats, with calligraphy written on top. Suong has spent 89 days writing the calligraphy and finding connections to produce the finished product. The words written on the giant hat include sightseeing spots in Can Tho, folk songs, proverbs, poems, and the names of various provinces and cities across the country. She shares that the purpose of her work is to honour the beauty of the fatherland through pieces of calligraphy. Indeed, the giant hat is created from 540 small conical hats which themselves represent the country’s 54 ethnic minority groups. The diametre of the giant hat spans for more than eight metres, with the length from the tip to the brim roughly four meters and the length from the tip of the cone to the ground roughly six metres.
