The key material used in the collection is silk from famous craft villages such as Van Phuc and Bao Loc.

The outfits appear more colourful and stylish as the Hanoi native designer makes use of brocade from the Central Highlands region as one of the materials.

The award ceremony also draws the participation of plenty of celebrities, including Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski, president of the Miss and Mister Supranational pageants, Rosko Dickinson, president of Manhunt International Organization, Angelia Ong, Miss Earth 2015, Phuong Khanh, Miss Earth 2018, and Khanh Van, Miss Universe Vietnam 2019.

His research group has demonstrated a phenomenon called quantum teleportation, which makes it possible to move a quantum state from one particle to one at a distance. Giant calligraphy hat breaks record as largest in Vietnam

The work has been done on the initiative of Dao Thi Cam Suong, a calligrapher from Can Tho. The giant conical hat is made up of a total of 540 smaller conical hats, with calligraphy written on top. Suong has spent 89 days writing the calligraphy and finding connections to produce the finished product. The words written on the giant hat include sightseeing spots in Can Tho, folk songs, proverbs, poems, and the names of various provinces and cities across the country. She shares that the purpose of her work is to honour the beauty of the fatherland through pieces of calligraphy. Indeed, the giant hat is created from 540 small conical hats which themselves represent the country’s 54 ethnic minority groups. The diametre of the giant hat spans for more than eight metres, with the length from the tip to the brim roughly four meters and the length from the tip of the cone to the ground roughly six metres.
