The event is taking place as part of the ninth Da Lat flower festival held from December 18 to December 31.

The festival has been held every two years since 2005. On display are more than 100 photos detailing the activities of Da Lat flower festivals through the years, with most of the images taken mostly by reporters nationwide.

The exhibition introduces paintings and wooden sculptures of some local artists about the Da Lat flower festivals. The event is scheduled to last through to December 31.

His research group has demonstrated a phenomenon called quantum teleportation, which makes it possible to move a quantum state from one particle to one at a distance. Giant calligraphy hat breaks record as largest in Vietnam

The work has been done on the initiative of Dao Thi Cam Suong, a calligrapher from Can Tho. The giant conical hat is made up of a total of 540 smaller conical hats, with calligraphy written on top. Suong has spent 89 days writing the calligraphy and finding connections to produce the finished product. The words written on the giant hat include sightseeing spots in Can Tho, folk songs, proverbs, poems, and the names of various provinces and cities across the country. She shares that the purpose of her work is to honour the beauty of the fatherland through pieces of calligraphy. Indeed, the giant hat is created from 540 small conical hats which themselves represent the country’s 54 ethnic minority groups.
